Mine Explosion Bush's Fault

As you surely know, 13 miners were trapped early yesterday by an explosion at the Sago Mine in Tallmansville, West Virginia. Their chances of survival are slim, and growing more so as each hour passes. CNN story HERE.

Meanwhile, the Angry Democrats at MyDD know what's important:
Undoubtedly, some will criticize me for placing blame on President Bush here. The defense will be that Bush didn't cause the explosion that collapsed the mine. My response will be that he didn't do anything to prevent it. In fact, if anything, the actions of his administration made the situation worse.
Can we make this stuff up? No we can not.

H/T to NRO.

I have no doubt that mines could be made perfectly safe, and that the only reason that has not been done is the greed of the owners and the malicious hatred of the President for mine workers. Especially if they're black. Or poor. Or Democrats. It's a wonder he hasn't ordered them all incarcerated at Guantanamo before this.

And I'd wager that it's safe to say that Grand Klaxon Bobby Byrd's rather more "friendly with the mining industry" than is the President.

To be taken seriously one must quickly denounce the nonsense vomited up by those who might otherwise be mistaken for your political allies.

I'm not grouping nobody with nobody. I'm just looking at those birds next to you on the perch, and wondering why you don't shoo them away. Or pick a different perch.

Makes no nevermind to me.

Do you think the Democrats and Republicans will exit "campaign mode" and get into "governing mode" anytime soon?

Me neither.
