Old Newsreel
I love these old newsreels. Here's one of Hitler's trip to New York in the 1930s:
"Every gross brained idiot is suffered to come into print." ~ Thomas Nash (1592)
"The fox knows many things, but the hedgehog knows one big thing."
--Archilochus
Glenn Reynolds:
"Heh."
Barack Obama:
"Impossible to transcend."
Albert A. Gore, Jr.:"An incontinent brute."
Rev. Jeremiah Wright:"God damn the Gentleman Farmer."
Friends of GF's Sons:"Is that really your dad?"
Kickball Girl:"Keeping 'em alive until 7:45."
Hired Hand:"I think . . . we forgot the pheasant."

Wow. I never knew Hitler came to New York! Those pictures make it seem like he was really popular, too.
is this real?
You mean they've got an actor playing Hitler, and it's not film from his visit to New York?
You can even see everyone's favorite Reichsmarschall in one of the pix. Who's playing Hermann?
